For you.

Below are a selection of works from my recent collection.

Come play at The Wall

An art "gang" (of which I am a member) going by the name "No Love Lost" is exhibiting a motley of works at World Bar's "The Wall" Wednesday (yes, tomorrow) night.

I will have one or two pieces hanging of a different style than my usual illustration. If you're interested and in Sydney, come and say 'hi' and peruse my chums' collective genius. As well as many other emerging artists, performers etc!

There will also be music. And beverages of the alcoholic type.

8pm World Bar Kings Cross.

Inquire if you please.

I've received a few emails now asking me about my drawings and practice and such, and I think perhaps I should do a little Q & A in a coming post.

If anyone has any questions you would like to ask me, either about my illustrations or something completely unrelated, feel free to email me them or leave them as a comment.

What is to come?

Here is a peep into 'Where Are The Wolves?', a picture book with poetry that I'm dipping into here and there and trying to complete. Perhaps if my pens were scattered over my desk I would be more time efficient.

Apologies for the shadows, I'm no photographer.

From A to B

It's much easier to create when you have suitable materials on hand.

I began drawing with biros and splotchy ink pens from Woolworths, the ones in packs of five or so, but through trial and error, I've come to need only two primary tools for my works - Moleskine medium sketchbooks and Staedtler Pigment Liners.

However, copious amounts of books and music play a key role in developing a concept before it's on paper - unless I'm thinking especially lucidly and it just falls into place.

Tap Gallery

If anyone is interested in viewing my collection during the end of December and early January, "Nocturne Acquaintances" will be housed at Darlinghurst's Tap Gallery.

Opening night is this Thursday (18th) accompanied with an array of other contemporary artworks, live music and food - my artworks will remain upstairs into the new year.

Thank you to all who attended my exhibition last Saturday :)
